Workshops

The Festival of Foods using the EAT (Explore. Analyze. Taste) model is CHANA Project’s signature approach tor teaching nutrition to children. By capitalizing on their natural curiosity, we get them children excited about trying new, wholesome and nutritious foods. As a result, they discover that they like a variety of foods that they thought they might not otherwise eat.

These workshops surround 8 basic themes:

  • Food and culture
  • A Rainbow of Foods
  • High Five
  • Cool Snacks for Cool Kids
  • Breakfast on the Run
  • Let’s Eat the Pyramid Way
  • Food as Art
  • A Festival of Foods Fun Day
