Our strategic plan for the next three years include expanding services into preschools, including Head Start, Day Care and programs serving children with special needs in South Florida and beyond. CHANA Project is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization that was founded by Dorene E. Carter, PhD, RD in 2002. The organization was later incorporated in the state of Florida and granted tax-exempt status by the IRS effective 2004.
